“Spes non confundit” (“Hope does not disappoint”) is Pope Francis’ official proclamation for the Ordinary Jubilee Year 2025, inviting the whole Church to rediscover Christian hope rooted in God’s unfailing love. Drawing from Romans 5:5, it calls believers to become authentic witnesses of hope in a world marked by uncertainty and fear.  Centered on the conviction that nothing can separate us from the love of God, the text encourages all Christians to renew their trust in God’s promises and to look to the future without fear, even amid global crises, conflict, and personal trials.
